In the near future Ballenger Motorsports will be offering a low cost replacement LSU sensor as an alternative to the expensive NTK sensor that is currently offered for the NGK Powerdex AFX - Air Fuel Ratio Monitor Kit - Wideband O2 system.

Ballenger Motorsports has chosen this wideband because it is unique in the aftermarket. Most systems are designed by engineers who have to guess at the best control systems for the Nernst pump cell and heater circuit. This has led to a lot of products that work most of the time or have small problems. This has also led to calibration differences as engineers guess at what values are best when programming the hardware. This system is unique because it has been designed by the same engineers who work on the OEM applications and lab grade hardware for oxygen sensor calibration. These engineers don’t have to guess at the Nernst pump cell and heater circuit implementations because they have invested vast amounts of time and money and have access to the development information and experience that is used in lab grade systems. Simply put, we only sell the best and we strive to sell it at a reasonable cost.
